NHS Future Forum and Voluntary Sector Engagement Meeting:

West Midlands

As you might be aware, the Government has asked the NHS Future Forum to continue its work and provide independent advice to further inform ongoing proposals to modernise the NHS. We are pleased to invite you to this meeting which forms part of the Future Forum’s conversations with patients, service users and professionals. 

Through Regional Voices, RAWM has been asked by the NHS Future Forum, led by Professor Steve Field, to host a meeting of voluntary and community sector leaders throughout the West Midlands to feed into this wider stakeholder engagement exercise. It is anticipated that members of the Future Forum will attend each regional meeting.

Each meeting will be attended by approximately 20-35 voluntary sector leaders, particularly those working with patients, service users and carers from throughout the West Midlands.  To ensure that we gain feedback from organisations with a range of interests we are targeting this invitation at leaders within the voluntary sector only and at those organisations that have been involved with this process to date.

To ensure we obtain a wide range of views we will not be confirming attendance on a first come first served basis but will be selecting participants that reflect the diversity of the voluntary and community sector. 

In order to gather as many voices as possible from across the sector, we request that all attendees liaise with their members and networks prior to the meeting to obtain views and feedback on the questions raised.
